Many Years Ago I Read a Ben Franklin Quote That Has Always Stuck With Me.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just After the Creation of the New Constitution and the United States of America, a Question Was Put to Dr. Franklin by a High Society Woman at Some Swanky Affair to Celebrate the Creation of This New County. “Well Doctor, She Said, What Have We Got, a Republic or a Monarchy?” His Response Represents the Underpinning of All That We Hold Dear. He Said, “A Republic\u2026 If You Can Keep It.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Those Last Five Words Drive My Determination to Not Let Ben Franklin Down. I Find This As My Duty, As the Beneficiary of All Who Came Before Me to Set up the Conditions for My Success and Prosperity. And Now It\u2019s My Time to Pay That Bill. To Preserve This Republic for Future Generations to Prosper Just As Those Americans of the Past Had Preserved It for Me.<\/span><\/p>\n
